ScholarBank@NUS Repository.||Abstract:||Based on the gliding-box algorithm and the Radon transform algorithm, a novel method for detecting ship wakes in Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) images is proposed. The method is applied to both simulation images and real SAR image, and the result shows that the detection accuracy is satisfactory in strong noise environment.
