Issue Date: | 2008 | Citation: | Tang, X.,Mouthaan, K. (2008). A novel broadband 90°Phase shifter. Proceedings of 2008 Asia Pacific Microwave Conference, APMC 2008 : -. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. https://doi.org/10.1109/APMC.2008.4958037 | Abstract: | The 90°phase bit of high-pass/low-pass phase shifter suffers from large phase errorcompared to the smaller phase bits. To improve the phase error performance, this work develops a network that provides a differential phase of 90°with a small phase error (<±2°) over a large bandwidth. Compared to other work focused on this bit, the new network shows theoretical bandwidth of 88% (2.6:1) while keeping the return loss better than 17 dB. The experimental result shows a ±2.5°bandwidth of 102% (3:1), a return loss better than 12 dB and an amplitude variation less than 0.5 dB from 0.94 GHz to 2.89 GHz. ©2008 IEEE. | Source Title: | Proceedings of 2008 Asia Pacific Microwave Conference, APMC 2008 | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/68947 | ISBN: | 9781424426423 | DOI: | 10.1109/APMC.2008.4958037 |
