dc.description.abstractMultifractal spectrum, which gives a complete statistical description of images, can be used to characterize radar images. In this paper, a new method based on multifractal analysis is proposed to segment SAR image into regions and to highlight their boundaries. Computation experiment shows that the segmentation result is encouraging.
