|Title:||STRENGTH OF STIFFENED STEEL PANELS.||Authors:||Shanmugam, N.E.
|Issue Date:||Oct-1986||Citation:||Shanmugam, N.E.,Paramasivam, P.,Lee, S.L. (1986-10). STRENGTH OF STIFFENED STEEL PANELS.. International Journal of Structures 6 (4) : 169-183. ScholarBank@NUS Repository.||Abstract:||An approximate method for the analysis of axially loaded stiffened flange plates is presented. The collapse loads of stiffened panels can be obtained by using the effective width concept; the stiffeners are assumed to be stocky enough so that their local buckling can be neglected in the analysis. The proposed method is calibrated against published test results of twenty-eight stiffened panels.||Source Title:||International Journal of Structures||URI:||http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/66230||ISSN:||02534754|
