dc.description.abstract | The circulation of simple harmonic (SH) waves around a long metallic cylinder covered with a piezoelectric layer was presented. Potential application of the structure in the design of nondestructive evaluation of cylindrical structures submerged in water was provided by the dispersion relations. The significance of the coupling effect due to different metallic core, aluminium, steel and gold was considered. | |
