dc.description.abstractA unified set of formulas has been developed for the analysis of the symmetrical five-port microstrip ring coupler which can be implemented in a diversity of forms. Tests on sample prototypes confirm that the resultant simple-to-use equations are able to yield reasonably good numerical accuracies. © 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
