The nonlinear response of a high-temperature superconductor hairpin-comb filter in a perpendicular dc magnetic field was examined through measurement of its insertion loss and center frequency. The effect of the applied field on the insertion loss at low field regime is small, and increases gradually with respect to the field. A hysteretic effect as well as a linear relationship of the center frequency and the applied dc magnetic field were also observed.
