dc.description.abstractA receiver for FSK in noise is proposed based on the use of an unbiased minimum-variance frequency estimator. It allows a complete digital implementation, and is robust in that knowledge of the frequency deviation and carrier phase is not required. The BER of the receiver is obtained using computer simulations.
