dc.description.abstractThe formation of nanograined Mg alloys can be induced by mechanical milling. Grain size of about 100nm can be retained even after sintering and extrusion. Mechanochemical milling is able to produce nano-particulates that are embedded in nanograins. Ductility increases with the formation of nanograins.
