dc.description.abstractTwo-directional microwave assisted rapid sintering was carried out to sinter different metal-based materials. Tensile testing of microwave synthesized materials revealed superior mechanical properties compared to conventionally sintered materials. © 2004 Acta Materialia Inc. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
