dc.description.abstract | A new method for generating high visibility digital speckle shearing fringe pattern is proposed. Using a linear correlation algorithm a coefficient for two composed speckle patterns and the resulting fringe pattern are obtained. It is found that the speckle fringe pattern generated is not affected by the variation of the illuminating light intensity and has much higher visibility than the fringe pattern generated by the conventional subtraction method. To show the validity of the proposed method, comparisons are made between experimental results using the two techniques. | |
