dc.description.abstractThe correlation coefficient of two vertically-polarised omnidirectional antennas in a typical rich multipath environment is expressed in terms of the conventional mutual impedances. This provides a convenient formula for the calculation of the correlation coefficient based on existing data available in the literature. Numerical results on two monopole antennas demonstrate the validity of this expression. © 2008 The Institution of Engineering and Technology.
