ScholarBank@NUS Repository.||Abstract:||Optical remote sensing images often suffer from the presence of cloud covers, especially over the tropical regions. However, if multiple images acquired at different time over a given region are available, then it may be possible to generate a reasonably cloud-free composite scene by mosaicking the cloud-free areas in the set of images. In this paper, we describe a technique of generating such 'cloud-free' scenes for images acquired by the SPOT satellites.||Source Title:||International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS)||URI:||http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/53280|
