The morphology of the carbon nanoparticles obtained was studied with a TEM by depositing and drying solution on copper grids. Nonlinear optical limiting properties of the samples were determined with Gaussian pulses from a Nd:YAG laser. The results suggest that the stabilization is due to polymerization of tetrahydrofuran on the carbon nanoparticle surfaces.||Source Title:||Carbon||URI:||http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/50875||ISSN:||00086223||DOI:||10.1016/j.carbon.2004.05.035|
