ScholarBank@NUS Repository. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.carbon.2004.05.035 | Abstract: | A novel carbon nanoparticles based nonlinear optical liquid were fabricated using laser-ablation-in-solution method. The morphology of the carbon nanoparticles obtained was studied with a TEM by depositing and drying solution on copper grids. Nonlinear optical limiting properties of the samples were determined with Gaussian pulses from a Nd:YAG laser. The results suggest that the stabilization is due to polymerization of tetrahydrofuran on the carbon nanoparticle surfaces. | Source Title: | Carbon | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/50875 | ISSN: | 00086223 | DOI: | 10.1016/j.carbon.2004.05.035 |
