dc.description.abstract | In this paper, we have studied the downlink capacity of a multi-rate DS-CDMA (direct sequence code division multiple access) system with antenna array at base-station. We present the performance analysis for the mixture of data users and voice users defined by their bandwidth and fidelity requirements in a multi-cell CDMA cellular system, where there are three sectors per cell. And we adopt multi-channel scheme as our multi-rate scheme. In this paper, the effect of path loss, Rayleigh fading, log-normal shadowing, together with multiple access interference and thermal noise are considered. Simulation results are also presented. | |
