dc.description.abstract | Since current design rules for ring-stiffened joints under static load are in-adequate, a numerical study has been carried out to quantify the effects of single (centred) T-shape ring-stiffeners on the static strength of axially loaded uniplanar X-joints. The effects of the geometric parameters β and 2γ on the static strength have been determined. In addition, the influences of the thickness and the height of the T-shaped stiffeners have been investigated. | |
