Transfer copings, used in many aspects of fixed and removable prosthodontics, are commonly made with autopolymerizing resins. Fabricating accurate and dimensionally stable transfer copings with these materials can be difficult. Luma-Rez resin, a visible light-cured resin, helps overcome these fabrication difficulties. A technique that uses this material to make transfer copings is described. © 1993.
