Various aspects of software modeling techniques such as, Z, Alloy and UML, and semantic web development are discussed. The features of semantic web languages and semantic web tools are also discussed. The software modeling and verification techniques are used for design, maintenance and deployment of semantic web ontology. Z and Alloy were first order declarative languages based on sets and relations. Various diagrams of UML are used to as a design tool to develop semantic web ontology.
