dc.description.abstractAlkali metal-carbon compounds may be formed by mixing an alkali metal with carbon. Such alkali metal-carbon compounds absorb hydrogen at lower temperatures and may be useful as hydrogen storage materials in various applications, such as in hydrogen fuel cells.
