dc.description.abstract | We report a microfluidic device that allows isolating single Caenorhabditis elegans (C. elegans) worms in tailored chambers and monitoring them throughout their full life-cycle. A synchronized worm population is automatically obtained from an on-chip worm culture and studied during the complete life-cycle. The device allows analysis at the single-organism level and preserves the identity of each worm. | |
