Abstract: The aim of the thesis is to weave conditions for "meetings and encounters" into daily routine life. It is a reverse concept from SDU where meeting new people and encountering potential partners are a special event. Single is a general ferm for people who are not married. Through deciphering the real conditions of the singlehood, the singles' club first and foremost cater to the singles' needs. Programmafically, if is no longer seen as a 'love' club, but rather the singles' club empowers fhe single person. On the other hand, recognising the aims of SDU, the SDU concept of letting people meet other people is subtly woven info the architecture, where visual and physical connections/interactions allow users to 'know' other people.
