Title: | T3 DEPARTMENT LOUNGE: AN EVENT SPACE | Authors: | KANG FONG ING | Issue Date: | 2002 | Citation: | KANG FONG ING (2002). T3 DEPARTMENT LOUNGE: AN EVENT SPACE. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | This thesis deals with Singapore's potential to be an air travel hub in South East Asia. Terminal 3 of Changi Airport in 2006 will add another 20 million passengers to Singapore's annual handling capacity of 44 million per annum. The transit lounge is a significant area of Terminal 3 that every air travel visitor to Singapore passes through. The transit lounge is used as a vehicle to investigate the transit experience that suits the air traveller. The passenger profile that uses an airport has varying needs to shop, play, work and rest, while waiting for their flight. Therefore, this will result in a transit lounge building that offers a new experience of transit to air travellers. | URI: | https://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/244483 |
