Abstract: This thesis discusses the design and modification of the interfacial polymerization process and the fabrication of 1-inch TFC hollow fiber membrane modules. Various potential water-related applications of the resultant membranes and modules have been tested, such as nanofiltration, reverse osmosis and pressure retarded osmosis. Good and stable performances have been obtained.
