Abstract: In recent years, the subject of Quality of Life (QOL) has been an increasingly researched topic in various countries. Due to the fact that QOL is a multi-faceted concept, on the surface of it, it may look simple but it is highly abstract due to its subjective nature. This study uses 18 domains to explore and measure the overall life satisfaction of residents living in the Jurong West/ Boon Lay area. By using social or subjective indicators, the study aims to measure the QOL of residents living in the area- planned for the Campus Town Concept in the near future. In general, family life, health and public safety were ranked first, second and third respectively in terms of satisfaction for the residents. Areas of dissatisfaction were also highlighted and identified by the resident s during the course of the study. Recommendations for further research were then discussed at the end of the study. Overall, the resident were generally satisfied and happy with their QOL.
