ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | This dissertation focuses on the maintenance management of JTC business park buildings. The objective of this study is to better appreciate the maintenance management practices adopted by JTC for the business park buildings to achieve a high quality work environment and to create a basis for future studies on new maintenance management strategies and techniques to be adopted for business park buildings as well as other theme parks alike. The research approach is to evaluate the maintenance records, to understand the current maintenance practices and how the tenants have valued the maintenance services in terms of satisfaction level. The findings from this study have showed that JTC property management department has focuses on several key items in their maintenance management of Business Park. They are customer orientated, willingness to spend on maintenance to upkeep the building, projecting the right image for their tenants by rendering quality services and appropriate measures taken to cut down on unnecessary spending such as adoption of a hybrid of 3 types of maintenance techniques namely, corrective, preventive and conditioned-based maintenance. | URI: | https://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/230912 |
