Abstract: Oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane (ODE) has been gaining much attention for producing ethylene. Developing catalysts with excellent catalytic properties is critical to enable the industrial application of ODE technology. Great efforts have been devoted to improving the understanding of the catalytic mechanism. In this work, three types of catalysts (MoVSbOx, p-BNNS and CN) were fabricated and their catalytic performances were carefully evaluated. Our results obtained provided essential knowledge for mechanistic understanding and further improvement of catalysts design.
