ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | In recent years, Light-Emitting Diode (LED) Media Walls have become a popular choice of presenting advertisement or information on building façades. However, the lack of maintenance considerations during the design and installation stages have led to underperforming or faulty screens. This research study aims to create guidelines on installation and maintenance of LED Media Walls based on the Five Green Maintainability Factors: Maximizing Performance, Minimizing Cost, Minimizing Risk, Minimizing Negative Environmental Impact, and Minimizing Consumption of Matter & Energy. The knowledge and findings in this paper are based on strategic literature review, conducted experts’ interviews and survey questionnaires. The outcome is a guideline for the industry to help designers and practitioners improve and optimize the usage of LED Media Walls. | URI: | https://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/223727 |
