ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | Continuous information exchange from close interaction between Man and Machine, may reduce interest conflicts and resource wastage, and also generate fresh outcomes to adapt to changing situations. The mutual reliance has by far been an underdeveloped area in the field of architecture, despite its seeming potential to assist humans in their activities and achieve a learning goal that is impossible on one’s own. To begin investigating this potential, the research conceptualises TransArchitecture as a 3rd order cybernetic system using a communicative and intelligent machine-man construct. It shows the possibility of enhancing communication by using an open-loop underspecified communication structure, and of modelling intelligence after artificial cognition. A hypothetical building prototype will apply these concepts, whereupon by illustrating scenarios of various scales, an evaluation of this novel personal assistant system can be made to establish its possibility in advancing mindful living. | URI: | https://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/222725 |
