Today, we all lead a very busy, stressful lifestyle, running from one thing to the other. Not fully appreciating this life that we have been given. We take things such as our own health and well-being for granted, while at the same time blissfully unaware of our surroundings and the resources used to sustain us as well as the impact we have on the world. Thesis ambition is to explore how to provide an alternative living experience for the people living in mainland Singapore. As temporary as it may be, give people a chance to learn about resources, to learn about healthy life style and a chance to connect with nature. In hopes that this experience will open their minds to a healthier lifestyle and help those to enrich their life back in the mainland Singapore. Pulau Ubin, being an offshore island in the North-Eastern coast of Singapore, has very little resources of its own (Portable water, electricity etc.). This project also seeks to explore how a project can sustain itself in such a location.
