Abstract: In 1992, Singapore planned a program to connect all the green spaces across the country so that urban citizens can have easier access to green spaces. The motivation of this study is to understand what the important quality of life characteristics are to the users and how park connectors have contributed to these quality of life items. Ulu Pandan Park Connector is selected as the case study for the question above. The findings show that Ulu Pandan Park Connector contributes tremendously in providing space for the users to exercise; maintaining a healthy lifestyle which is also quality of life items that users mentioned as the most important comparatively. Quality of life item regarding natural environment is another area which users feel as the next most important factor to their lifestyle. Once again, Ulu Pandan Park Connector has satisfied the users by providing adequate natural environment. Users also indicate that quality of life items regarding transportation, accessibility and community living are not as important as the other two mentioned above. Not surprisingly, Ulu pandan Park Connector does not contribute much to these quality of life’s aspects either. However, the findings from the research show that majority of the users agree that Park Connectors have improved their quality of life significantly. The community agrees that the park connector is a “nice to have” feature rather than “need to have” feature for the users.
