Abstract: Located at Lim Chu Kang organic Farm, SCOBY Factory manufactures SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast) façade. The by-product of this organic material is a traditional health drink called KOMBUCHA (Mushroom Tea). It is exported out as a beverage product from this factory as well. When SCOBY has reached the end of its life span as a building material, it is collected and sent back to the factory. It would be treated and used as fertilizers for neighboring farms in the vicinity.
