Abstract: The average time a patient spends in a nursing home is 6 years. Due to semi mobility, patients are stuck in their beds and wheelchairs within sterile wards. This thesis looks into enhancing the daily experience of patients through layering personal experience, family experience, community experience and kwong wai shiu experience.
