Abstract: As Singapore is becoming home to many distinctive developments such as aerospace industry, Biomedical hub, Integrated Resort and etc. Thus, property management is unnoticing being elevated to a higher expectation. This paper examines the property and facilities management in the distinctive development, Biopolis which is part of the one-north development at North Buna Vista. A case study is carried out to evaluate and appraised the management and survey questionnaire is conduct to obtain basic data to assess the user’s perception on the FM in managing of the property in three board issues - planning and execution of work/or events; customer service level and lastly the in-house policy in managing the user/or customers. The survey questionnaire was distributed to all companies and institutes in Biopolis. The data analysis findings from this study have shown an averagely score mean value of above 3 in the three broad issues. Majority of respondents have responded neutral or agreed based on their encounters and their experiences with the FM team. 48 percent had rated good for the overall performance by the FM team. Other findings also demonstrate that there is no correlation with the roles played by the respondents and FM’s overall performance. However there is a low correlation between their duration of stay in Biopolis and FM’s overall performance. This result could be due to inadequate encounter or experiences dealing between the respondents and FM.
