Abstract: In this modern age, technology has been changing in a fast pace. Real estate professionals and companies have no longer restricted in conducting their business in traditional way. Real estate business has tapped on this opportunity and undergone innovative changes in simplifying the process of home purchasing. The emergence of real estate website is perceived as the modern way in promoting all real estate products and services with just a click on internet. However, the platform of promoting real estate on internet leads to the concern for different individuals. Individual finds it difficult in changing their ways when doing home purchases such as security problem, credibility and reliability on real estate websites. Hence, this study aims to examine the usage pattern of real estate websites from homebuyers‟ perspective. This proposition is conducted by surveying homebuyers' expectation in accordance to the differences of gender and age. A survey of homebuyers' real estate websites use in home purchase is developed and tested. Results showed that both male and female in the age of 31-40 are the dominant population to use internet as means of purchasing home. Most of them have used real estate websites in finding homes for sales and viewing virtual tours. Moreover, available and exposure of information, credibility of real estate websites, listing photo on websites and convenience are found to be important factors and reasons in determining homebuyers' purchasing decision.
