Abstract: Taiwan is a place where Chinese pop music has been developed very well and influenced entire Mando-pop scene. In the beginning of twenty-first century, "Zhongguo Feng" (41 U1M) style pop music became popular with the leading of Jay Chou and his partner Vincent Fang. This style has been spread to the Mando-pop scene quickly and other singers and their teams also started to produce "Zhongguo Feng" music. Chinese Pop Music is an interesting part of Modern Chinese Culture which reflect the insight and thinking of public. The "Zhongguo Feng" pop music presents the Chinese elements though the music and lyrics. Taiwanese singers describe their Chinese imagination in these music as they applied traditional poems, imagery and other Chinese features into music. This study will discuss the relationship between Taiwan folk songs and "Zhongguo Feng" pop music in order to get the cause of formation of "Zhongguo Feng". Also through the comparison of these two styles on themes, contents and structure, this study will conclude the Chinese imagination described by "Zhongguo Feng" style pop Music.
