dc.description.abstract | We present a shape grammar plug-in for Grasshopper that allows shapes and shape rules to be defined in a parametric manner, even if the rule matching mechanism does not support parametric rules. The plug-in supports shape emergence and provides support for visually enumerating rule applications. We reflect on the interaction between parametric or associative modelling and rule-based generation within the context of using this plug-in. | |
