dc.description.abstractWe present a shape grammar implementation with two new characteristics. One is that it is visual and directly manipulable: Users draw the shapes and rules in a modeling application. The other characteristic is advanced technical capabilities, such as non-visual attributes and higher-order elements like surfaces. It consists of three components running in Rhinoceros3d. We also report on workshops that introduced the implementation.
