Title: | DEVELOPMENT OF SINGLE-PIXEL HYPERSPECTRAL IMAGING SYSTEMS USING HADAMARD TRANSFORMATION | Authors: | QI YI | Keywords: | Single-Pixel, Hyperspectral imaging, Hadamard transformation, Cascading encoding algorithm | Issue Date: | 12-Jan-2021 | Citation: | QI YI (2021-01-12). DEVELOPMENT OF SINGLE-PIXEL HYPERSPECTRAL IMAGING SYSTEMS USING HADAMARD TRANSFORMATION. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | In this thesis, we proposed three generations of single-pixel hyperspectral imager with multiplexing advantages in this thesis. The first one is a cascaded spatial-spectral encoding hyperspectral imaging system. With the specially designed spatial encoder on a moving mask and the spectral encoder with a resonant scanner, two encoding systems can be cascaded together to implement two-stage multiplexing hyperspectral imaging. The second-generation system is a spatial-spectral integrated hyperspectral imager. With the help of Digital-Micromirror-Device, the spatial encoding system is integrated with the entrance slit of the system. With this design, a higher spatial resolution has been achieved. Meanwhile, an embedded auxiliary imaging system has been designed to determine the field of view of the system. The third generation is an infrared hyperspectral imager with a self-designed fore optics. This system demonstrates the performance of the multiplexing single-pixel hyperspectral imager in the infrared wavelength region. Besides, some cascading designs, which can enhance the spatial resolution, have been introduced in the last of this thesis. The cascading design provides a method for spatial resolution multiplexing, which adopts more single-pixel detector into the system. | URI: | https://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/192620 |
