Abstract: With more future urban developments, the level of imperviousness is likely to increase and it is essential to have an effective stormwater management solution to capture, regulate and treat the runoff before channelling it to downstream water bodies. Active, Beautiful, Clean Waters (ABC Waters) Programme is a sustainable approach for urban stormwater runoff management in SIngapore. Intensive monitoring of the runoff quantity and quality of the ABC Waters design features (ABCWDFs) in Singapore is important to determine its potential in managing the quality and quantity of stormwater runoff. Field monitoring study on a residential precinct scale was conducted to establish meaningful and useful data for other full-scale implementation of ABCWDFs in Singapore. Using the field monitoring data obtained, the conceptual MUSIC (eWater) model was calibrated and validated to better serve as a conceptualisation modelling tool for the future design and implementation of ABCWDFs in Singapore or other tropical countries.
