Title: AN INVESTIGATION OF THE SOLAR RADIATION AT SINGAPORE
Authors: TAN BENG CHEOK
Issue Date: Nov-1962
Citation: TAN BENG CHEOK (1962-11). AN INVESTIGATION OF THE SOLAR RADIATION AT SINGAPORE. ScholarBank@NUS Repository.
Abstract: This investigation is divided into two main parts. The first part is subdivided into two sections; one dealing with the total and diffuse radiation falling on a horizontal surface and the other is concerned with the spectral distribution of energy in the visible and near infrared regions of the solar spectrum. The second part also comprises two sections, the first of which is to establish a relationship between duration of sunshine in Singapore with total radiation and the second attempts to measure the reflection coefficients of several surfaces and to determine their variation with solar elevation.
