It starts with identifying and singling out the potential demand and the factors affecting it, both quantifiable and those not quantifiable. Suitable statistical techniques have been made use of to forecast for and next future period, i.e. 1991. Such forecast do provide an glimpse of the likely demand in the near future. However, this will be assessed with the recognition of the technical limitations.
