FOLLOWING AN INTERDISCIPLINARY APPROACH AND ANALYZING DATA COLLECTED THROUGH FIELDWORK, IT EXAMINES THE SOCIO-POLITICAL FACTORS FACILITATING AND REGULATING FDI INFLOWS IN THE TWO STATES. THE PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THIS THESIS IS TO UNDERSTAND SUCH SOCIO-POLITICAL FACTORS LIKE THE IDEAS AND INTERESTS OF ACTORS IN RESTRUCTURING INSTITUTIONS FAVORING FDI INFLOWS.
