CENTURY PARK SHERATON - SINGAPORE - AN ESIATE MANAGEMENT STUDY

Abstract

A study was done regarding the estate management and maintenance techniques adopted by Century Park Sheraton- Singapore. The management functions would include guest rooms, shopping units, food and beverage outlets, carparks, insurance, security, computerisation and productivity (Quality Control Circles and Work Excellence Programme). The maintenance function would include the maintenance programme, room rehabilitation programme and energy conservation. An investment analysis was carried out to assess the financial performance of the hotel. Some recommendations were also made accordingly.
