Abstract: As online payment becomes prevalent, e-Payment has come to be one of the most vital services CrimsonLogic offers its clients. Currently, CrimsonLogic employs a Payment Server which serves as an interface to the credit card payment gateway which in turn connects with the acquirer bank's own gateway. To establish connectivity to the corresponding Acquirer bank where the transactions have to be made with, a third-party payment gateway system is used. This project is aimed at creating a secure e-Payment gateway that will support a variety of acquirer banks and can perform POS transactions between merchant and bank. This gateway will also be replacing the current vendor gateway so that the whole e-Payment process will be seamlessly integrated into CrimsonLogic's e-Payment services. Security and performance are two of the most important issued in designing a payment gateway. As such, this project is designed and implemented in the context of providing both as well as allowing extensibility for future extensions.
