This is clearly not appropriate across moving object boundaries where motion discontinuities exist. In this paper, we address this problem by proposing an adaptive interpolation scheme for patches that contain multiple motions (i.e. patches around motion boundaries). Simulation results show improvements over standard 2-D mesh motion compensation at a fraction of computational increase.||Source Title:||1997 IEEE 1st Workshop on Multimedia Signal Processing, MMSP 1997||URI:||http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/146419||ISBN:||0780337808
