Title: | Modeling of dynamic video traffic | Authors: | Turaga Deepak Chen Tsuhan |
Issue Date: | 2000 | Publisher: | IEEE, Piscataway, NJ, United States | Citation: | Turaga Deepak, Chen Tsuhan (2000). Modeling of dynamic video traffic. Proceedings - IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems 4 : IV-293-IV-296. ScholarBank@NUS Repository. | Abstract: | A two-state Markov modulated autoregressive process is proposed to model the traffic created by a variable bit rate video coder. Consisting of only intra and predictive frames, the model is flexible enough to consider data with variable group-of-picture (GOP) structure. It performs better than a fixed GOP model in terms of modeling the autocorrelation function and the power spectral density of the generated data. | Source Title: | Proceedings - IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems | URI: | http://scholarbank.nus.edu.sg/handle/10635/146390 | ISSN: | 02714310 |
