Abstract: This thesis examines a few key ways in which queer Singaporean youth subjectivities are produced through digital and material entanglements. I argue that the affordances provided by Internet and mobile technologies play crucial roles in reconfiguring subjective experiences of embodiment, spatiality, and temporality. Digital technologies provide sources of information and sociality that mitigate the invisibility of queerness in everyday Singapore, and the vocabularies through which they articulate their identities, experiences, and attachments. I thus explore how Singaporean youth interpret and utilize online knowledge in relation to their everyday lives in Singapore.
