An enterprise integration (EI) methodology is discussed. An emerging EI scenario is business-to-business (B2B) integration, which occurs when an organization integrates its own business processes with those of its business partners to improve efficiency within a collaborative value chain. Once an integration architecture has been produced, a detailed plan of action needs to be formulated to implement the architecture and see the project through to completion. Planning should cover areas such as project scoping, project resourcing, integration architecture design and implementation, testing, and deployment.
