It had its beginnings in the late 1960s and has since grown to be one of the major orthopaedic subspecialties. Knee, shoulder and ankle injuries constitute the majority of cases seen by the orthopaedic sports medicine specialists. Significant scientific contributions to the international literature have been made by our specialists over the years.
