Abstract: In clinical reality, lifelong weight therapy must enable patients to achieve energy restriction and normalized metabolism, while "eating more and exercising less". At the same time, the clinical measure in integrative weight-healthcare has to extend beyond the conventional confines of the body mass index and corresponding treatment target of weight loss. In the preceding issue, a distinct form of sustainable tripartite weight management was discussed. Here, a case study involving a morbidly-obese patient with a 15-year history of clinically-diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus with the Metabolic Syndrome is described. Clinical application of our integrative weight-healthcare model has led to the restoration of euglycaemia and concomitant improved metabolic profile, spanning three years to-date.
